Author Guidelines

Authors submitting manuscripts to NCJ: Journal of History, Culture, and Heritage Consulting are required to follow the guidelines below:

1. Scope and Types of Manuscripts

NCJ accepts original research articles, conceptual papers, and case studies that align with the journal’s focus and scope, particularly in history, culture, local wisdom, and heritage management.

2. Originality and Publication Ethics

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions will be screened for plagiarism. Authors must comply with the journal’s Publication Ethics policy.

3. Language and Writing Style

Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English using clear, academic, and systematic language.

4. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts generally consist of:

  • Title

  • Author(s) and affiliation(s)

  • Abstract and keywords

  • Introduction

  • Methodology (if applicable)

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References

5. Formatting and Citation

Authors must follow the NCJ journal template. Citations and references should be written consistently using the reference style specified by the journal.

6. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Final decisions include acceptance, revision, or rejection.

7. Publication Fee

NCJ charges no submission or publication fees (no APC).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
